A Target store in Torrance was burglarized by three suspects on Monday September 17, 2012.
A perimeter was set up in the area as the police were in search of these suspects.
The three are suspected of taking about $2,000 worth of merchandise consisting of mostly electronics and games from a Target store and then fleeing in a vehicle. Police spotted the vehicle a short time later.
Fern Elementary School was placed on lockdown in response to the pursuit.
Two of the suspects, male and female, surrendered after a short car chase and the third suspect jumped out of the car and ran on foot.
The third suspect then voluntarily surrendered when he heard canines.
The unidentified suspects were booked on suspicion of commercial burglary, grand theft and evading arrest.
These theft crimes are very serious and can result in long term imprisonment. A theft lawyer would be essential in such a matter.
